Sports massage is one of the oldest forms of recorded massage dating back to early martial arts to ancient Greek and Roman times.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints.

Deep tissue massage produces a large amounts of endorphins (the body’s own painkiller) that gives a natural high whilst releasing chronic muscle tension.

Post and pre event massage

What is Pre-and post- event Massage?

Pre-event relaxes the muscles and flushes through the body to ensure the athlete is performance ready.

Post-event is superb for helping the athlete to recover and help the body repair and recuperate.

Kinesio-taping

Kinesiology tape is an adhesive elastic cotton strip which is thin and stretchy simulating the same thickness and elasticity of human skin.  This makes the tapes perfect for use in a wide variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries as it can be worn without constricting or restricting movement.

It can also be used for helping to reduce inflammatory conditions.

Dry Cupping

During Dry Cupping, the cups are placed over several areas to create a vacuum which lifts the soft tissue and creates an upward stretch within the muscle and associated fascia. This vacuum lift helps to increase in blood flow and induces a stretch effect, which results in a reduction in muscle tension and associated pain.

Pregnancy Massage

Prenatal massage can help with migraines and back pain, and even morning sickness. It improves circulation, and gives you relief from sciatica and heartburn.

Postnatal massage helps ease sore spots, aching muscles and reduces tension. Plus, it gives you time to yourself!

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage is a specialised, gentle type of medical massage.

The aim is to encourage the lymph fluid to move away from the swollen area, so it can drain normally. It also helps lymph fluid drain through the healthy lymph vessels. This helps control swelling.
